Moon in Capricorn 2020 Tarot Spread

Hi there! Happy Full Moon to ya! I've got a number of bits and pieces planned for this part of the moon cycle (I'm planning on on charging my crystals and some moon water, and making some love oil and having a go at some sex magick later - it's that kinda vibe) but to kick off the festivities, I gave myself a tarot reading using the tarot spread Biddy Tarot posted on her instagram yesterday.

I had already done a little five card pull for the start of July, but I feel like the questions that Biddy used in her spread were a little more interesting and specific, so I decided to give it a go. After all, it's good practice for me!

1. What have I achieved in the last six months?
Card pulled: Ten of Wands reversed

To be honest, it was no surprised to see this card pop up in this position. The Ten of Wands reversed indicates that you need to take a break from things and enjoy what you have. The last six months really have been a period of my life where I've acknowledged that I've tried to take on too much at once and have learned to lighten my load but physically and emotionally. I'm terrible for taking on too many things at once and as a result burning myself out completely. The first half of this year has been a bit of a game changer on that front.

2. What am I yet to receive?
Card pulled: Ten of Cups

Let me tell you, as soon as I turned this card over, I had the biggest smile on my face. Before I'd even double checked it's meaning in my handy dandy Modern Day Tarot Play book (I'm going to have little post all about that coming soon!) I knew that there were some good, bountiful things to be coming my way. The Ten of Cups represents happiness, joy and emotional contentment. It signifies being surrounded by loved ones and can also signify a new relationship (here's me hoping that the love jar I made the other week is coming to fruition!). The outcomes of this card are a result of following your heart and trusting your intuition.

3. What does the full expansion look like for me?
Card pulled: Seven of Cups

Another really promising card! The Seven of Cups represents oppertunities, joy and victory which I really like the sound of as I've been sending off countless job applications and job interviews. It comes witha  bit of a warning though; beware of illusion and unrealistic ideals - something as a dreamy Pisces I'm guilty of far too often. I wonder whether this could be in relation to relationships, what with it being a cup card and appearing right next to another cup card. I'm taking this card to signify something positive in that aspect, but to just keep myself grounded and not get swept up in the heat of the moment.

4. What foundations do I need to establish to support my success?
Card pulled: Knave of Wands

The Knave of Wands is a reminder to give everything and anything a go and embrace the oppertunities given to you. Admittedly, I can be a little scared of taking risks in a number of aspects of my life, but drawing this card is really the push I need to approach things head on. Maybe my relecutance to rock the boat is causing it to become stagnant

5. What is non-negotionable for me right now?
Card pulled: Four of Swords reversed

As soon as I drew this card, I knew exactly what it was telling me; do not sacrifice yourself! The four of swords revered is an indication that you need to rest and recharge when you need to. Self preservation needs to come first and this is something I often ignore. I'm an INFP and I'm TERRIBLE when it comes to putting other people's needs before my own. Learning to say no is something I've got better at over the last few years, but occasionaly I still spread myself too thin and end up a burnt out wreck and feeling less than human. My interpretation from this card is that I need to rember to put myself first; my wellbeing is non-negotiable.

6. What do I need to release to feel successful?
Card pulled: The Chariot

The Chariot represents control and willpower. At first I kind of read this position as being "what do I need to do to feel successful" rather than what I need to let go of, but giving up control of a situation could work to my advantage. I think sometimes I have a bit of a tendency to hold onto the reigns a bit too tightly and maybe this is the cards telling me I need to loosen my grip somewhat in order to achieve my goals and desires.

All in all I think that this turned out to be a pretty useful and positive spread. Looking at this cards all together I think there are a number of aspects that could be at play here, namely in regards to relationships (presences of cups) and my drive to succeed (suit of wands). Referring back to my copy of Modern Day Tarot Play, I found it quite interesting to see that the appearance of The Chariot alongside the Knave of Wands often indicated you are likely to pursue a potential mate, especially after casting a love spell jar, and I would be lying if I said that since then there hasn't been a certain someone in mind based on our interactions since. It'll be interesting to see how the rest of this cycle plays out.

I hope you have a wonderful phase, and that your full moon spells bring you everything you're after. Until next time!
